Data Deletion Instructions

As a user, you hold complete authority to request the permanent deletion of your data from our applications, storage instances, and databases. Specifically in compliance with Meta's (Facebook/Instagram) strict Data Protection and App Review guidelines, we have outlined the exact steps to securely remove your data below.

Method 1: Deleting Account and Data via Postuby Dashboard

If you wish to completely wipe your entire profile, generated content, and connected channels from Postuby, this is the most direct method:

1. Log in to your Postuby account.
2. Navigate to the Settings page by clicking on the menu or profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Account tab and click the "Delete My Account" or "Delete ALL Data" button.
4. Confirm the action. At this precise moment, your name, address, Meta Access Tokens (permissions), scheduled content, and server logs are permanently purged from our databases and cannot be recovered.

Method 2: Revoking Authorization and Deleting Data via Facebook / Meta

If you no longer have access to Postuby or simply want to sever the Facebook integration permissions at the Meta server level, you can utilize Facebook's standard "Business Integrations" menu:

1. Log in to your personal or business Facebook account.
2. From the top-right menu icon (your profile picture), navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Select "Apps and Websites" (or Business Integrations) located in the left-hand menu.
4. Locate Postuby in the list of active applications and click Remove.
5. On the confirmation modal, you may optionally check the box to "Delete posts, videos or events Postuby posted on your timeline" before confirming the Removal.

Critical Note: Completing this step tells Facebook to instantly invalidate all Access Tokens previously granted to us. From that exact second, it becomes mathematically impossible for Postuby to access, publish to, or read messages from your linked pages.

Method 3: Written Request & Manual Deletion (DPO Support)

If you cannot access both platforms and need direct manual intervention:

Please send an email from your registered account email address to [email protected] with the subject line "DATA DELETION REQUEST". Our Data Protection team will permanently wipe your account and all associated residuals from our databases within 48 business hours, responding directly to you with a "Data Destruction Confirmation."
